Discover how Reimagined works
This Hard Edge art glass sculpture is an original geometric design with black and white chequers. Coming amid vivid bursts of strong curved colours, it makes a really striking piece of fused glass artwork.
It holds the record as my most Reimagined work to date, in response to requests like “I love the original. Can I have another one like it please?”
While I never do two works the same, I have no problem Reimagining a work along similar basic guidelines. My Earrings and Gaze works are reference examples of how I have successfully Reimagined an original.
Developed in December 2022, the Chequer glass roundel is made with a mix of coloured art glass spanning the rainbow in greens, blues, reds, yellows, clear and white, using both transparent and opaque glass.
Glass rods (stringers) enhance the key lines of the fused glass art, bringing out the proportions and spatial relationships found within the work - and they really catch the light too!
It’s supplied with a custom-made wrought iron stand to show it off to its best.
The round glass artwork is 18¼” round, and ¼” thick - or 470mm by 6mm
This large size ensures it's really impactful.
The Hard Edge geometric design is unique, creating a stand-out piece for your home - or a perfect wedding or housewarming gift.
Handmade in the UK in my Glass Studio in West Lancashire, it comes with a Certificate of Authenticity - signed by me, Linda Rossiter, so you can be sure that your piece is original.
Delivery, customs taxes and tariffs are not included.
