I'm working on a new project, titled "First Day of Spring"
It will be a large glass disc, designed to sit in a wrought iron stand.
The pieces of art glass in this new sculpture are all roughly cut, and I'm happy with the choice of colours.
Now every piece needs perfecting. Here you can see me grinding the pieces until there's no gaps between them, before I lay them on the printed pattern.
I use pins to hold them in place so that I can make sure my lines stay straight.
