Orangerie fused glass art miniatures
One, or a set of fused Hard Edge glass art Miniatures based on my Orangerie design.
Every Miniature you see is original and unique. There is no other like it in the world.
All my Miniatures are created around the visual themes of my larger masterworks, following similar structural & colour guidelines, but each as an entirely new work in itself.
You can see examples of other Orangerie miniatures I've previously created on this page.
You can see the original Orangerie glass art design here
Miniatures are made with a selection of coloured art glass, both opaque and transparent to let the light through.
The steel stands are handcrafted by a local blacksmith.

About my work
As with all my glass artworks, this piece is designed and made to the same exacting and meticulous standards.
Each of my glass objects are one of a kind - I never do identical objects. Even where the design is similar, they all have a unique colour combination, never to be repeated.
During the glass fusing, small air bubbles can appear and become trapped within the glass. This is a natural occurrence that adds to the beauty of handmade glass products. We call them champagne bubbles.
Care of your glass
Even the strongest glass can break, so please handle your glass art with care.
When needed, dust it with a lint-free cloth, or wipe with a soft, damp cloth. Don't use an abrasive cleaner as this could scratch it.
Because of the handmade nature of glass, please don’t put it in a microwave or dishwasher.

Display ideas
The Orangerie miniatures work very well as a set - either alone or displayed within a group of plants.
