Spring: Large round fused glass art roundel
This bright, joyful Hard Edge glass roundel was inspired by the colours of Spring, and set in striking geometry with a complexity rarely found in fused glass.
Like the season of Spring, it’s designed to fill the space with a unique sense of colour and light, amid a burst of new green shoots.
It was my first ever attempt to express joy and gladness in a large roundel format.
Who says happiness can’t be blue?!
Designed in my unique Hard Edge Glass style, it's an original work like nothing I’ve ever seen.
Developed Autumn 2022, it's made with a mix of coloured art glass in greens, teals, blues, clear and white, using both transparent and opaque glass.
The round glass artwork is 18¼” round, and ¼” thick - or 470mm by 6mm
It is supplied with a custom-made wrought iron stand to show it off to its best.
This large size ensures it's really impactful.
Handmade in the UK in my Glass Studio in West Lancashire, it comes with a Certificate of Authenticity - signed by me, Linda Rossiter, so you can be sure that your piece is original.
