I love this stage ... washing every piece of glass to make sure there's no residue from the grinder ... and no grease from my fingers.
Any fingerprint, pen line or even a stray glass splinter could spoil the work, by leaving a mark - or even causing a bubble.
So each piece is washed, rinsed, dried and wiped with 99% alcohol to be safe.
